----- Why Sixes
Lacrosse at full speed.
Sixes is a fast-paced version of lacrosse designed to keep players involved from start to finish.
With six players on the field, a smaller playing area, and a 30-second shot clock, the game creates more opportunities for players to make decisions, move the ball, attack, defend, and compete.
6 vs 6
6v6
Fast-break action
With few players on the field, every possession creates an opportunity to contribute.
SMALL
Smaller field
The smaller field keeps players connected to the action and encourages quick decisions.
TOUCH
Constant involvement
Sixes gives players more opportunities to handle the ball, make plays, and impact the game.
30
Second shot clock
The 30-second shot clock creates a quick pace and encourages teams to attack.
SHORT
No long poles
A streamlined format built around speed and skill.
FAST
Quick quarters
Short, intense periods reward smart adjustments.
